Was a bit nervous last wednesday but England still got the win - I think they get taken down to seriously bad teams levels and that was apparant at St. james' - But they will qualify and if every one is fit they have a real chance this time!! Shame Scholes has retired tho - I would still like to see him in i think the best squad for many a year!!

i think that it will be a european team because if you look at the winners of the world cup the european teams allways dobetter when they are playin in europe.

well we were robbed of a semi final place after scoring a perfectly good goal against portugal , so i
would say we have just as good a chance at the World Cup 2006 . The only thing we need to avoid
is the penalty shoot out !

I think Agrentina or Brazil will win it. They both have great youngsters coming through all the time and they have some experienced players too. Europes best chance would have to be England, being Irish though I hope they dont win it!!!

Holland will win it for sure... we have Mr. Magic Manager Marco... he brought Holland the future and wahey, suddenly PSV and AZ start performing in Europe 2...

and when the big stars and ego's (which mr. Schmeichel hated so much , and the dutch 2) like Seedorf, Kluivert and others gone, we have real proper lads like Kromkamp, Mathijsen, van Nistelrooij, Castelen and Kuijt... and Boulahrouz of course ... just look at the statistics and see how they started playing since van Basten and his crew came!

The odds are on our side, now we only have to prove it!

Scotla ......yeah rite! never been past the group stages since they have never gotten past the first round of a major international competiton and there won't be a change in that

England (have underachieved, but I believe strongly it will finally come right next summer)

Netherlands (They play good football, when they aren't internally combusting)

No doubt there'll be another African surprise this time. But African teams will never win the world cup for one reason: they always start well and get arrogant. Then they think they just have to turn up to win and get thrashed. This happened to Nigeria in 98 and also to Senegal in 2002. So again no african team will make it past the quarter finals.

I can't see an asian team doing as well as south korea did last time, that was purely down to extremely dodgy refereeing. Spain did NOT deserve to lose that game, both goals they scored were completely 100% valid goals.

However, I don't fancy Spain or Italy this time. They'll make second round or quarters at most. France have also had their day.
