Looks like Forest Green are bulking up for next season which they need if they are to survive.

Yeah mate you see it all the time in the lower leagues. These lower league teams buy more players than Chelsea. Just because they spend about 5k at most nothing gets said. There will no doubt be a few more signings for the Rovers.

Well Forest Green certainly need it, they only just survived last year so they do need some quality, and if not quality then they need more squad depth at least.

No idea what their finances are like but im sure they could pick up a few experienced players on some Free's. If not maybe even get some League One and Two players out on loan.

Exeter midfielder Danny Clay has revealed that he has held talks with a number of clubs over a possible move away from St James's Park.
The 20-year-old recently turned down the Grecians' offer of a new one-year contract extension.

And he told the Express and Echo: "I am speaking to a few clubs at the moment.

"There are no offers at the moment but I hope something concrete comes soon. I have been in contact with clubs in the Conference and the Conference South."

The Grecians would be entitled to a fee for his services, as he is under 24.

Former Hereford keeper Craig Mawson has joined Halifax.
Town have also brought forward Danny Forrest, 21, back to the club on a permanent basis following his release by Bradford City.

Forrest, who spent last season on loan at the Shay, is joined by defender Jake Wright, 20, who has also made the move from City after an earlier loan spell.

Mawson, 27, had a brief stint at Halifax earlier in his career and has played over 150 Conference games.

He has had spells with Morecambe and Hereford.

Conference side Stevenage Borough have signed former Canvey Island goalkeeper Danny Potter.
Potter becomes Mark Stimson's second signing since taking over at Stevenage following his departure from Canvey at the end of last season.

The 27-year-old keeper, who started his career at Chelsea, also had spells at Exeter City and Farnborough.

Stevenage striker Jon Nurse, 25, has also agreed a new two-year deal at Broadhall Way.

Relegated Scarborough have brought former captain Mark Hotte back for a second spell at the McCain Stadium.
Hotte rejoins the Seasiders following a 12-month stay with neighbours York.

The 27-year-old defender made over 130 appearances for Scarborough in his first three-and-a-half year stay with the club.

Hotte becomes manager Neil Redfearn's first signing since Boro's relegation to Conference North was confirmed by the Conference.

Cambridge United have signed three young players on free transfers from neighbours Cambridge City.
Strikers Michael Gash and Robbie Simpson have signed one-year contracts, as has midfielder Josh Simpson.

Gash and Josh Simpson, both 19, both came through City's youth ranks but had established themselves in the first team over the last two seasons.

Robbie Simpson, 21, joined City from Norwich, and made his first team debut at the tender age of 16 in 2002

Woking boss Glenn Cockerill has made former Stevenage midfielder Ollie Berquez his first close season signing.
Berquez has agreed a 12-month deal at Kingfield following his departure from Conference rivals Stevenage.

Cockerill said: "We're happy to welcome Ollie to the club and hopefully he will add something different to the squad."

Berquez joined Stevenage from Canvey Island in May 2005 and made 29 Conference appearances for the club last season.

Altrincham have released long-serving captain Mark Maddox and central midfielder Ged Murphy.
Central defender Maddox, 33, ends a second spell at Moss Lane and leaves after making almost 350 appearances.

Robins boss Graham Heathcote described the decision to release Maddox as "heart-breaking" as he looks to free up funds for new signings.

Murphy, 27, joined Altrincham from Droylsden in November and started 22 Conference games last season.

New Rushden and Diamonds boss Paul Hart is set to make former Crystal Palace defender Glenn Wilson his first signing since taking over at Nene Park.
Wilson has agreed terms on a two-year deal with the Conference club and will sign once he has passed a medical.

The 20-year-old right-sided defender was released by Palace recently.

Wilson captained the reserve-side at Selhurst Park but did not make a first-team appearance after progressing through Palace's youth system.

Sounds like a great signing, I don't know anything about him but if he captained the youth side he must have something about him...

Yeah i agree, a great pick up for them, especially given his age. Even though he is only 20 he should bring some experience with him to Rushden.

Gravesend and Northfleet boss Liam Daish has made experienced midfielder Robert Quinn his first new signing of the summer.
Quinn has agreed a one-year deal after being released by Conference rivals Stevenage at the end of last season.

The 29-year-old had spent two years at Broadhall Way, starting over 50 Conference games.

Quinn previously played in the League with Crystal Palace, Brentford, Oxford and Bristol Rovers.

Tamworth manager Mark Cooper has further strengthened his squad with the capture of former Notts County defender Emmet Friars.
Friars joins the Lambs after leaving Meadow Lane at the end of last season.

The 20-year-old follows striker Matty Williams in making the switch from Notts County to the Conference club.

Friars made 15 first-team appearances for the Magpies, and also played on loan at Alfreton Town and AFC Telford United last season.
