How will the Newcastle players react after losing manager Kevin Keegan?

Will the home fans boycott this game in protest and will owner Mike Ashley be there?

Can Hull City use all this drama to their advantage and take something from this game?

How do you all see this game going?......

I think there is to be some kind of pre-match protest rather than an actual large scale boycott of the game from Newcastle fans. I think this recent stuff will have one of two affects on the players at the Toon, either they will be largely affected by the speculation and Hull will take advantage of it and sneak a result, or they will become sort of unified in a sense and do the business.

2-0 to the home side for me.

If ever there is a time to use the word inevitable, it's now. Writing was on the wall for us to lose this match to be honest. All the crap going on recently, a loss at home to play-off promoted Hull just had to happen. Angry, annoyed and embarrassed are all words to decribe this moment for a Newcastle fan today, but I'd be lying if i said I didn't expect it.

Haven't seen any of the match, but i'm ticked off that Guthrie got sent off, straight red aswell. This will be a huge blow right now, our bench today was weak enough as it is. Now that another player out for 3 games, or there abouts.

Only thing I can take out of this match is that Xisco got a debut goal, what does that tell you. Oh yeah, and we got a good turn-out also. Not the 10,000-20,000 we were expecting. Somewhere around 50,000 i think i read.

Oh well, tomorrows another day...

Guthrie was a bit og a goon with those two challenges at the end ,red card was the only thing he could of got. They should have double reds if the foul is bad enough. What a mess Newcastle are in right now. What happened to those two new defenders who had blinders against Man U?
Well done Hull.

What a piece of ridiculous, childish, petulant idiocy from Danny Guthrie.

He needs to grow up rather quickly, that tackle was nothing short of nasty.

it was an absolute disgrace.

easily could have snapped his leg if his boot was caught in the turf.

All I can do is really laugh at this whole meltdown at Newcastle. If they don't get it sorted out soon, I could see relegation for them. And Hull City in the top 4 (as of now), impressive for the time being of course as they won't be there for long.

further examlpes of the brainlessness of Newcastle fans and geordies in general came with the 'protest banners'.

"COCKNEY MAFIA OUT" one banner read.

now im no expert on the workings of Newcastle United Football Club but im quite sure there is not one single Cockney involved in the club.

ignorance is bliss i suppose

Well, Dennis Wise was born in London.

well firstly that does not make him a Cockney. and secondly its hardly a Mafia if there is just one person from the place they think they are from. unless Wise is a one man Mafia?
