That a good defence for Pompey, even though Distin at left back. Maybe Davis the weak link in midfield.

Well [beep!] that! Boro are 1-0 up with a goal of the month potential. All against run of play. It was like Kakas against Man Utd, but it isnt.

this could be the best game of the weekend ,two teams in transition boro with the confidence and Pompey going through some changes but with talent galore that could spark a classic.

Good match, now at half time.

Pompey almost scored but then Boro just went straight up the other end. Will be different second half. Mido playing well for Boro.


Pompey look good all over. Traore and Johnson both doing well and looking comfortable. I think Harry is playing a different formation, more 352 commentary says.

Kaboul, Campbell, Distin with Johnson and Traore at wing back.
Diop, Diarra and Davis in the centre with Little and Large up front.

Good combination play from Little and Large, with quality finish by Little.

Herman Very Happy on for Traore. Herman at left back. Belhadj, who has looked very good, in left midfield. Lots of options down the left side for Pompey.

All over. Good easy enough win. It took some work but stayed cool. Defoe (and Crouch) good up front if you take away the chances they missed. Diarra looking quality in midfield and the defence one thats hard to get past this season.
