Grimsby poised to name boss

Grimsby are set to appoint a new boss in place of Russell Slade on Monday.
"It is in the club's interests to sort out the managerial position as soon as we can," chairman John Fenty told his club's website.

"We have to make sure we have the right man but I'm confident we will. We've been inundated with applications since we parted company with Russell.

"The process is under way - and if we get the man we want, I'm sure the fans will be happy with the choice."
