All clubs have a fan vote for who they believe to be the Player of the Season. So just over halfway into the season, who would get your vote at the minute?

Mine may be slightly controversial, as I'd vote Park Ji-Sung. He's given some brilliant performances so far, and has been like a quiet Ronaldo in the games he's played.

This is a tough one. But for me perhaps Brad Freidel deserves a shout.

I agree Park often gets little credit for what he does.

I'll be unimaginative and throw Xabi Alonso into the mix. He's been the best player of the best team (points wise anyway) so far.

Robin Van Persie.. he's lit up a poor campaign so far, for us

hmmm very tough call that one. No player has really been that brilliant but I'd nominate...

Nicholas Anelka - Top scorer in the league so far. Playing the best football of his career.

Xabi Alonso - After nearly being sold in the summer he's really stepped up his game. Shown what a class act he is with his passing skills.

Ashley Young - I'm still not convinced he's as good as some think he is but he's had an excellent campaign so far for sure.

When you think about it, nobody really stands out.

I'll plump for Emmanuel Eboué. Wink

I'd have to go for Steven Gerrard, I know Liverpool fans hate people saying it but he does carry them at times.

Bosingwa. He has been fantastic. He has been good defensively, and a joy to watch going forward, beating men, scoring thunderbolts, and getting assists with some of the best crossing in the league.

Bosingwa gets my vote then, but other contenders are:-

Alonso, and Park, who have already been mentioned, but Robinho as well in my opinion. He has really been the only player to light up the league this season, and at times has produced moments of sheer magic, despite playing for an awful Man City team, who are relying far too heavily on him.

Bosingwa's actually a really good shout. Pulled Chelsea from behind many a time, and beginning to show why he's worth £16m

Good call on Bosingwa.

Actually, good call on Alonso. He's been consistently impressive and for me a big part of why Liverpool have been sitting top of the deck for such a long while.

Sorry I thought Millsy meant within your own team.

If we're talking about anyone in the Premiership I'd go for Stephen Ireland.
