Rob Earnshaw helped West Brom stay in the Premiership
Cardiff City will scoop a vital cash injection thanks to West Brom's final day escape from Premiership relegation.
The Bluebirds sold top scorer Robert Earnshaw to the Baggies for £3m in August, with another £620,000 to follow if the Midlands side stayed up.

This latest boost to the cash-strapped club follows last week's windfall from a similar clause in Graham Kavanagh's sale to Premiership-bound Wigan.

Manager Lennie Lawrence hopes to spend the money on strengthening his squad.

Well that coul dbe some important money. That is the difference between survival and relegation. If we were to go into adminastration but that £600,000 keeps us out of it it oculd keep us up ! Thoes 10 points deduction could be a huge loss !
