Arsenal are said to be stepping up their bid to sign Malmo striker Markus Rosenberg.

The 22 year-old Sweden international is rated very highly and was scouted by the Gunners in previous weeks, its suspected that Malmo want at least £5million for his services.

Rosenberg is also being chased by other clubs such as Ajax and the now rich Russians Lokomotiv Moscow.

Arsenal may have to move quick though to avoid paying over the odds in a tug of war between the 3 clubs.
