Daniel Alves - A Friday signing????

I can also reveal on top of the Aimar talks - Liverpool have Won the race to sign Daniel Alves.

The player has agreed to sign on the dotted line for Liverpool.

The stumbling block isnt so much about the Fee - but more so - The players image rights & also his sell on fee ect.

But I have been told they are 'Very Close' to 'concluding' the deal.

There are whispers Daniel Alves could even be signed by Friday of this week.

There will be no problem conducting a medical as Alves isnt in the world cup squad.

This along with other buys will send a strong message throughout Europe as Barcalona, Real Madrid and AC Milan were all said to be more than interested in securing Daniel Alves's signiture.

Well as posted almost a week ago - Daniel Alves will be signed 'very shortly' -

As I said before the problem wasnt the Transfer Fee - but all the extra's.

The news that Alves will sign muted as possibly Friday or Saturday will be a seriously big boost for Liverpool Fc on the whole.

The anfield outfit have beaten the like of Barca - Real Madrid & AC Milan will be more than satified with this coup.

I spoke with a P.R guy from LFC yesterday whilst dining at a meal in W1 - he said that on top of Alves there will be numerous more signings.

Confirmed already are :-

Gabriel Paletta
Mark Gonzalez
Craig Bellamy
Daniel Alves

Then Fabio Aurelio - Believed Pre Contract signed
Also Dirk Kuyt - the fee has been agreed & terms agreed by the player himself - He will supposidly sign when Holland fall in the World Cup.

Then there are others that have been mentioned - but nothing concrete as yet.

I have to attend a function regarding Everton Fc on Friday afternoon/early evening and after that I am meeting a source from LFC too.

I will of course keep you all informed of anything that is more than just rumours. - probably Saturday Afternoon.

The Javier Saviola / Pablo Aimar have been gaining weight these last two days - with Liverpool rumoured to have already had contact with Barcalona regarding Saviola - as the fee will be 'small'.

Apparently Liverpool contact with Barca regarding Saviola has prompted Arsenal Boss Wenger to come out and test Liverpool's resolve. However that is most unlikely as Wengers future is far from certain - as Real's prospective new president has declared a deal will' be done to bring in Wenger if he's elected.

Anyway you look at all this - This is certainly an exciting time if you are a Liverpool Fc fan.
