Newcastle winger Laurent Robert has confirmed the 1-1 draw with Chelsea on Sunday was his final game for the club, reports BBC Radio Five Live.
The 29-year-old ran around St James' Park in his underpants to salute the Newcastle fans, having thrown his kit into the crowd.

Robert has been at the club since 2001, but has had a fractious relationship with new Magpies boss Graeme Souness.

Souness is expected to try to sell Robert, Craig Bellamy and Hugo Viana.

But the Scot would not be drawn on his transfer plans for the summer.

"I would not speculate on who is coming and who is going," said Souness.

"Obviously there are people we would like to cash in on, but there has to be a buyer for them and maybe people do not value them as much as we will, so they will be here next year.

"Likewise, the kind of players that we want to buy are players who are top players at big clubs at the moment, and those clubs will not want to sell their players, so there is an interesting summer ahead for us.

"We could end up with a lot of new faces or no new faces, but I cannot answer that now."
