Australian defender Pedj Bojic has agreed terms on a new one-year contract with Northampton Town, subject to the player obtaining a visa.
Bojic, 22, is the second player to commit his immediate future to the Cobblers, following Lee Harper's decision to sign a new deal on 9 June.
"We want everything to be sorted out as quickly as possible," Town manager John Gorman told the club's website.
"But these things can take time and we don't want to rush into anything."
