David Kerslake has been confirmed as assistant manager at Nottingham Forest, follwing the arrival of Colin Calderwood as manager in May.

Kerslake worked under Calderwood at Northampton and the pair played with each other at Spurs and Swindon.

"It's an incredible feeling to have the opportunity to work for a club like Nottingham Forest," Kerslake told the club's official website.

"Pre-season training can't come soon enough. I just want to get started."
