infact is special only for these people who are the shame of football, when you play all the match with 7 italians in defense and score only at 1 minutes from penalties this is only shame on shame...
C'MON PORTUGAL send them home! Wink

Especially when you consider that they cheated in the game against Australia to get a penalty kick. ITALY = LOW

You're still complaining about the FOUL on Grosso against Australia! Come on... you can have all the opinions you like, but anyone who watched the event AGAIN saw that there WAS CONTACT.

I think Italy have done themselves proud. Good luck to them.

Just 2 things:

The last minute of the match before the penalties is STILL part of the match so nothing strange in scoring 2 goals the last minute of a match, on the contrary...

Let's say for a minute we cheated in the match with Australia (which I don't think, though), we did not in the match with Germany. I understand you would have preferred playing Australia rather then a tough team like Italy is...

If you would have lost against Australia you wouldnt even had a chance to play against Germany.
Anyway, Italy and Portugal are the biggest cheaters right now in football. It was rediculous how hard Ronaldo tried to get a penalty yesterday. At least the ref didnt fall for it like he did in the Australia game.

The story is that divers are basically in all teams (Germany is not divers-free, Ronaldo & C exceeded a bit), the penalty box is not there for players to stay prone body and technically that WAS a penalty even though few referees would have given that.
If we won Germany (much tougher than Australia) at the end of the extra time, we would have beaten Australia even without the penalty or at least assuming it is not very far from the truth...
You would have played Italy anyway...

Class goals, but the greatest thing was to see Italy play open attacking football for once. It just goes to show what a great footballing nation they could be, wthout all the synisism, play acting and needless foul play. Unsure that we will see the same in the final however, probably revert back to win at all costs, but it was nice while it lasted.

i think that Italy has the best play of the WC! And if you think that Italy has played with 7 players in defence you are a poor man!

Against Australia (Australia doesn't know what is soccer, because they kicked only on the legs) italy played with 10 players because Materazzi was expelled unjustly!!

No doubt on the fact that Mussolini was a poor man, nevertheless, it's amasing to see that there's still people shifting from football to anything else passing through his/her head.
We're plently of countries with skeletons in their cupboards but this is a football world cup and I'd care about what Mussolini did when the title of this forum will be "Mussolini's influence in the 1934 and 1938 wold cups".

All the best and FORZA AZZURRI!!!!!

For the love of Italy. We have three gold stars on our shirt at the moment. All through cheating and corruption according to some.

If that is what they want to believe, fine. Who else cheated? Oh yes Maradona... oh how the English complained when he handled the ball past Shilton.

Did the English complain when they were given a non-goal, in 1966 against the Germans, when the ball NEVER crossed the line? No, of course not.

Did the South Korean's really knock out Italy, Spain and Portugal, in the last World Cup, with such a substandard team, or was it the corruption as reported after it had all ended?

Everybody moans about poor decisions, just like we will if a referee gives a bad decision against us on Sunday. In the end, we deserve to be there.

Grosso did not cheat against Australia, the referee decided it was a penalty and that was all. Personally I didn't think it was a penalty, but I am glad we got it and scored.

So don't deny that you would have not felt the same if it had been your team who had got that decision.

Forza gli Azzurri on Sunday ! ! !

Hey! That's why I like Italians! lol They are tiny cheaters but they assume it! Very Happy But they do it in a good way so that's why I prefer Italy rather than Portugal... lol

Agree with Cecco, football is football, it's not as exact as rugby, volleyball, handball or other sports. It's a human sport, with its good and bad things, so that's why everything should be relativized! It's just a game, not a war!!!

Forza Azzurri!
