Germany deserve to win and will. Portugal don't deserve anything from this world cup. Will pauleta score at this world cup? of course not, will Klose end up with wc golden boat? obviously.

I heard that Oliver Kahn should be the goalkeeper of that match.

yes thats true... oliver kahn will be the goalkeeper. not because lehmann is injured or something but because lehmann and most others in the german team think he deserved to play.

few others are injured. its still not sure if klose is going to play (i really hope he will)

so germany will eventually have a hard time vs portugal. i still hope we win Wink

As Friedrich is injured, I hope that Philipp Lahm will take his position as right defender...and my Borussia "darling" Marcel Jansen is getting his WC debut! Very Happy

Oliver Kahn is much better than Lehmann anyday. He is one of the best goalkeepers around.

I think Portugal will win. I hope they play Nuno Gomes. But I do like Germany...they're a really good team and I really thought they were going to win the World Cup.

Portugal for 3rd place. It should be a good match because both teams are really good. Hopefully Deco will be on top form.

I don't know which team I will support...

I can't support Germany because it's a french duty not to support Germany since what they did to us in 1982 lol, a traditional hatred. But in the other hand I hate the portuguese team... So a choice between a present and a past hatred!

I guess I will support Germany, because german people are kind and because I like their good-looking team this year, and because the portuguese team was not fair play in that world cup! (against the Netherlands, England and France...)

So...hum...damn, don't know what is the sentence to support Germany! lol

It's incredible how you act like sheep. You can't see what was a totally orchestrated campaign to turn the people against Portuguese... A stupid referee metioned something about portuguese players using dirty tricks so save his ass, and every one listens to him, a total retard who couldn't control the match with the less number of fouls in the whole WC (How many players sent off would France have had, with almost 20 fouls against Portugal, knowing that Portugal had 9 yellow cards and 2 red cards for 10 fouls???), with the dutch doing what they did in the match, with a red card shown to a brat that is as talented as stupid, and a totally fair game against France... Ronaldo dived??? So did Henry (although it was a foul) and Ribery (this one lots of times)... But, guess what??? There's a video about diving... but only for the Portuguese...

We are the ones who don't have fair play, but you french are the ones who call names to the opponent in the end of matches, torch cars in Paris, beat portuguese tv reporters live... that's really sporty and fair-play behaviour...

For the first time in my life, against what I believe as a football fan, and against a great Sir (Zinedine Zidane) desearves, I won't support neither teams but I really hope Italy gets the Cup, because of that mouron of national coach you have and all that stupid campaign against Portugal you all did...

Ballack is injured, too and Borowski (Ballacks first sub) had to stop training because of foot injury. Klose seems to be fit.
Since i said Germany will win against Italy, i predict that Portugal will win. Wink

I thought Germany performed pretty averaged. The critics said the team was 'ordinary' but the coached made the most of them. Plus they have home advantage. I would say technically the Portugal team is better. I don't know why everyone is bragging about German defence as they played rather poorly against the italians. Maybe I missed a great German game but from what I've seen so far, the Germans are the weakest of the top four.

And agreed Strik3r- I think everyone is focusing too much on the 'dives' by Portugal. Its funny how fans continually repeat about their dives when their own team dive about just as much if they are man enough to admit it in watching replays.

Well, since i am german i cannot be 100% objective, but our team played a great tournament and none of the others are better. And where did the defense play poorly against Italy? Np, that's just not correct, sorry. Italy did have two good chances, at the beginning of the extra time.

well i really dont agree (yes im german but i still try to be objective... if the german team would have played bad id say so.)

germany played 6 games in this tournament so far, and i cant remember a single match that was badly played by germany. yes costa rica made 2 goals vs us but that still doesnt make it a bad match.
germany vs argentina and germany vs italy were really good matches from both sides, so i think germany was one of the most entertaining teams in this tourney.
france has only played 3 good games so far and italy only 1 good game (against germany) so i cant see how you still say germany is the weakest of the last 4.

i think any of these 4 teams could win the world cup and would have deserved it because they all play on a high skill.

Germany will get the 3rd place.
Considering only the players individually, Portugal would be tipped to win but a team is not a sum of its players and, as a team, Germany is far better than Portugal.

Germany 2 - Portugal 0

We are the public enemy number one or Scolari said "The Ugly Duck". It's more easy to use these kind of things to defeat Portugal than work hard to be better than us.

I don't really care who wins the wc now but i will suport Italy cause at least they act correct. Only a great guy in France and his name is Zinedine Zidane.

With no fear of losing anything the two teams will play their best, attacking for the whole 90 minutes.
It's gonna be a great match and, at the ends, if everybody enjoys the match, I'm sure not the germans not the portugueses will care whether their team got the 3rd place as far as from the 2nd place down every team lost the cup.

I wish everyone to enjoy Germany - Portugal, the french to enjoy Italy - France (which I'm sure it'll be fair and epic) and I wish all of the italians to celebrate the 4th cup sunday night.
