You are giving more and more proof that you don't get the point, mate. Read what Leoric wrote: "Ronaldo was blamed for Rooney's bad behaviour, not Rooney himself (Ronaldo had his house in Chesire, England attacked!!). And, Materazzi was blamed for Zidane's outburst - berated in world media. Lessons must be learnt here." Carrie also wrote that he/she doesn't think "there are any original insults left". I think we can ALL agree with that. Zidane has probably heard them all before. The problem here, my dear belis, isn't Materazzi - it's none other than Zidane. He's done it before. There's something WRONG with a person who behaves like that. |

From AFP : http://www.afp.com/francais/news/stories/060711184912.3owi9ufp.html , Materazzi would have had said that :
"We all know that you are the son of a terrosist bitch" ... Please, let's appreciate Materazzi ... for a while ... and then pray for him ... |

Can't you think of any circonstances in life when you could possibly "blow the fuses" and forget yourself ? Like for instance your mother just enter an hospital for a serious desease and a dumbass insults your family wishing them to die an horrible death like it was suggested already ? No of course you would keep your head cool Mr Perfect because there is nothing WRONG with you.

it's simple
- zidane is a MASTER CLASS player, but he did a terrible thing. and punishment is deserved he's a human. and as a human I can understand his feelings. But I'm writing in a forum He's a champion, and he's not supposed to do such an act. no excuses for milan, juve, fiorentina, lazio ('cause they cheated) no excuses for Totti (for spitting Poulsen in 2002) no excuses for Zidane (for a butthead) if Materazzi said a racist phrase, he should be punished that's the rules...no need to fooling around |

Me too. That means that Materazzi should be "erased" from that WC ... he scored ? No more valid goal for him ... and for Italian cheaters of the Calcio ! So France is ... not the winner because of Zidane's behaviour. So Germany is the new 06 World Champ. and they deserve it, because of their good play and great great great organisation and enthusiasm ! |

The point is, that racist defamation (of 1 player) can provoke a disqualification of the whole team, because of the new FIFA rules (April 2006). If someone can prove the case.

Where have you red that ? What I have red is 5 matchs of suspension and 15 000 € of penalty (which is ridiculous for a professional footballer). |

lol that's a good plot for O.C. maybe Materazzi would be disqualified for 5 matches (for example) and not "erased"!!! world cup ended. and italy won only Materazzi should be punished, like he committed a foul. I guess it's hard for you who hates italians and this is a paradox 'cause you're horrified for racism phrase...ok, nevermind. I know fighting against your stupidity is a lost cause it's cruel for you. but italy won. facts are reality not your talking. listen to me turn on your t.v. and watch your fab silly sit-com soccer isn't for you you like games we like sport |

I can't believe what can a loss output.....
Now, FIFA, kick Italy out of the tournament and out of the Federation or get France, Germany, Ukraine, Australia, Czech Republic, USA and Ghana a re-match...they all deserve it
You know what that means? |

I read this:
Par. 1: Anyone who publicly disparages, discriminates against or denigrates someone in a defamatory manner on account of face, colour, language, religion or ethnic origin, or perpetrates any other racist and/or contemptuous act, will be subject to match suspension for at least five matches at every level. Furthermore, a stadium ban and a fine of at least CHF 20,000 will be imposed on the perpetrator. If the perpetrator is an official, the fine will be at least CHF 30,000 And this Par. 4 If any player, association or club official or spectator perpetrates any kind of racist or contemptuous act as described by par. 1 and/or 2 of this article, three points will automatically be deducted from the team concerned, if identifiable, after the first offence. In the case of a second offence, six points will automatically be deducted, and for a further offence, the team will be relegated. In the case of matches without points, the team concerned, if identifiable, will be disqualified. The point is "if identifiable". Perhaps it's just a interpretation, but if Materazzi really said... We all know that you are the son of a terrosist bitch" jup, Par 1 and 4 ... I hate of beeing so educational |

yes.
a good interpretation is: materazzi will pay 15.000 euros (for exampled) and banned for 10 matches (and this would be a HARD interpretation) deleting italy's cup for this?? maybe for Dan Brown it would be probably if organization cheated fifa (or the ref.) for a racist phrase, Italian Team will IMPOSE materazzi paying an disqualify him |

And it goes on with Gallas, sorry it is in French : http://www.eurosport.fr/football/coupedumonde/2006/sport_sto923719.shtml
Gallas explains that Zidane is not a kid, so what Materazzi might have said to him is very very HARD but that's the way Italian behave when they can't control the ball ... Gallas feels like exploding Materazzi's face ... and I guess every french people. I think Materazzi would better never come to France ... never. |

No, belis, I (thank you for the Mr Perfect) would never have reacted like that. But if I were materazzi, I wouldn't have stayed down like that. I would've probably stood up and beat the crap out of the frog. Of course that would've cost him a red card, too, but it would've been even.
I cannot think of any phrase or "circumstance" that could "blow your fuse", especially in public. And, one more thing: If Materazzi is to be judged for saying something, then the footage of ALL the games of theWHOLE World Cup should be seen again, and ANY verbal abuse be punished in the same way. It'll give these socalled experts something to do for the next couple of months. |
