Overplayed? When? During the second extratime they were exahusted... France did goal only with a doubtful penalty kick... Be honest! During the first time Italy definitly dominated...The second and the extra time was french but les blues had few chanches to achieve the goal... And Italy did goal during the game! Not helped by the referee!

Doubtful ??? Malouda has really been attacked by an Italian, the italian changes his mind but he never played the ball, the intention was there and if Malouda avoids the Italian he can't play the ball, there is undoubtfully fault if you think of the game.
And what about the 2 other faults in the surface on Malouda in 2nd period ?
And what about Materazi's hand on Viera's shoulder when he scored ?

Italy fully overplayed France for 30-35 minutes in the first period (and I thought Italy might win at this time)

But for the last 75 minutes Italy drowned completly. Even when France played with 10 players. Italians made several little faults like catching ankles and shirts all the time.
That's what Zidane shows to Materazi showing his shirt, then Materazi replies insulting him, then we see Zidane doing the sign "forget it" but Materazi goes on insulting ... and Materazi got Zidane head. He is like Canto, he hates ass-holes.

Please count the french chances and then the italian! Italy did one goal, took one bar, Toni was blocked in front of Barthez and then he did a second goal even if it was deleted... France did one penalty kick, Ribery kicked out and zidane's was blocked by Buffon...So... And i've even missed to count Pirlo's penalty... Be honest! Don't make the anger stronger than your rationality!

Of course Materazzi says to ZZ something offensive (it isn't a strangeness in a football match) (even if i don't thing he said just "monkey" lol!) but Zizou, a great champion, one of the best of this WC CH., in a match generally correct, didn't reply in this taurine way! I'm really disappointed! Sad

Italian overemphasis, we love it. So cute we could almost forgive you and I am pretty sure that you believe what you wrote ...
Tomorrow you'll be sure that France never saw the ball and in 2 weeks you'll believe that Italy won 5 goals to 3 in the 90' time.

Oh, very good, here we have news of a certain source.
Buffon wanted to wear the number 88 shirt becuse? BECAUSE? 1988 is the date of Hitler's birthday?
Is it the same relative who talked to ZZ the one who give you this information?
Now, apart from the idiocy you wrote (he's dead and if he was still alive he would have had a birthday every single year, not only 1988), anyway, he was born the 20/4/1889.
Now, find us a link between the number 88 and the date 20/4/1889.
You can ask for the help of that relative, if you like.

The truth about what you're trying to make us drink is another: you talk about Buffon and Hitler, somebody else in this thread talk about Mussolini, Materazzi called Zidane an "algerian nigger" for you, or better, that relative of you, for somebody else he called ZZ a "monkey"...

Than we have, let's see, the FIFA, very good friend of us italian, oh, no, sorry, we payed for that service, better, we paid Zidane to make him behave like he did but you know, italians have enough power to control the poor victime Zidane's behaviour....

[beep!]!!!! and not even well invented!!!!

YOU TWO ARE UTTERLY SORE LOSERS, the worst and the more unreasoneable I've read here, so far.

And also:
1- not at juventus but just for a bit time when he played at Parma.

2- 88 it's anyway the acronym for "Heil Hitler".. However this fact it's only a stupid "urban legend"

We should talk about played soccer! Wink

Rs Lens and all French people CONGRATULATIONS!!! French team was the BEST today and in all games! Keep the fire alive!

A lot of people in my country really hate Italians after this game. We will beat them in qualifying games to European champ 08. I swear god, I will visit game Ukraine-Italy and I'll throw FIREWORKS in Materazzi's head!!! Since today's final it becomes a MUST for any fan!!!

As for me, Italy and Portugal must be out of FIFA. Cause they have enough stupid players to make a game as dirty as it only can be. Materazzi is ******, ******, *********, ********!!!

The biggest shame of WC2006: Materazzi, De Rossi, C.Ronaldo (voted biggest a**hole).

Zidane FOREVER!!! I saw him in 1998. And he is still the best! I really felt in love with french team on this World Cup!

But today I found out interesting thing: I hate Italy and italian mf football!

Knowing Zizou, he doesnt blow up that easily but once he snaps.. he snaps big. i read in other forums that Materrazi called him 'monkey' and 'son of an algerian nigger'. any of u guys can confirm this. its a very big deal to me/others to know why. it is very sad to say my hero ended his career this way. he deserves a lot, lot better. i do not mind france losing out like they did but it hurts what bad things ppl are saying about zizou without the whole story.

but in defense of zizou, what a way to get a red card huh?? i can not remember any other red cards this worth while. even headbutting he shows finness and class. but still its no excuse, he could have really hurt materrazi

for the video.. one argument is that.. no officials saw the foul. but the 4th official saw it on video... so when did video evidence became a decider. FIFA said only call on what u see .. video evidence is still in discussion. so why??? ironicly italy is notorius for corruption. (i am not suggestioning anything, it is just something to be pointed out). i believe the italians worked very hard for the worldcup and nobody should discredit them. congratulations.

but if anybody was doing anything inapporiate(yes zizou did the most inapporiate thing) it should be highlightened. everybody wants to know the whole story.

Hey man, what are you talking about???
You better think what Sheva did for your club. Everything that you have won is because of him. Without his goals and abilities you could never reach championships and cups. He made the best for your club. So shut up. And be thankful! Sheva played better here. Your coaches made him a one-line player (player who stands in a box and waits a ball). In Dynamo Kiev he was universal and could play everywhere. And he scored really nice goals. Milan depressed his abilities. So you better shut your mouth and think first. And everybody will agree with this message. Ask people!!!!!!!!

Bah no one cares now.

Zidane will still be a Giant whatever happened. What's too bad is that we won't see him play again and that's what the world of football is going to face this morning.

Today also, the story is hot BUT you will see that tomorrow and the day after and after and after, all around the world Materazzi will be more and more pointed as the guy who insulted Zidane and made him expeled ... having tried to break a living myth in its last match, he is possibly going to become the most hated player in the world

It is even possible that some Italian players show a bit of embarrassment or desdain for Materazzi, especially from some who played with Zidane ...

You'll see because you never see Zidane anymore.

I would say "Milanese should thank Shevchenko for what he did to milan" and by the way take all your foreign players off Italian ligue (England and Spain try the same in yours) and you'd put yourself on your knees to ask them to come back.
About the final: Penalty yes, foul on Malouda: buy a giant screen, look the replay on it and you see that the italian defender touch the back of the right leg. 2 nd half an another penalty but refused to Malouda (lucky Italia). Italia was overplayed in the 2nd half and extra time. They did not create any chance at all, and even not trying to create anything.

The French have reasons to be bad loosers, (even not talking about the video refereing) such like the Italian have reasons to be bad winners:
Such like in 1982 a scandal is coming in their national ligue in which italians players (already full of money) and referees cheated to make more money again.
The president of an Italian politic party said yesterday night that "that is Italian victory on negroes and muslims".
You can't change the Italian their demons allways come back (like for Zidane?).

the frogs stil croak croak croak...

accept defeat.

it was payback time for euro2000.

it is not my fault that your coach took off your best players and zidane took off himself

enough of your whinging and whining

we give at least a classic in this world cup the game against germany..

and you only played better yesterday because you had more energy after the scrappy win to portugal(mind you one of those teams that could go on playing for 2 days and not score..)

as to the ukrainians...ah ah

3-0 says it all doesn't it?

1934 1938 1982 2006 and the next one 2030 eh eh

au revoir platini
