Well, FIFA are a joke!!!! I cannot believe that Materazzi has been fined and suspended for some football banter.

Where do you draw the line now? So Poulsen of Denmark should be punished for provoking Totti to spit at him in Euro 2004. Simeone of Argentina is another example because he provoked Beckham into lashing out at him. these are just a few examples of how ridiculous FIFA have become.

Materazzi got almost the same punishment Zidane got. It's just incredible. You really cannot trust FIFA and Blatter at all.
Sure Materazzi provoked ZZ but those are things that happen in every single match. Every single match!!!

Now every player would be justified to a reaction only by saying that he was provoked while the two players only exchanged normal words.
