Morrison Still at U's

Cambridge United defender Michael Morrison is set to start the season at the Abbey Stadium following a trial spell at Premiership champions Chelsea.

Morrison, 18, has also spent time with Newcastle and Watford this summer but played for the U's in their pre-season friendly against Norwich on Saturday.

"They will continue to monitor him but he's a Cambridge player," U's boss Rob Newman told his club's website.

"We all need to concentrate on getting ready for the new season," he added.
