Defender Chris Giles has left Forest Green Rovers less than two weeks after joining the club.
Giles had agreed a 12-month deal after leaving Crawley but is not fit to play because of a thigh problem which is set to keep him sidelined for three months.
The 24-year-old has had his contract scrapped, although Rovers may look to revive a deal in the future.
The club, meanwhile, do not expect striker Bruno Teixeira, 22, to return after failing to agree a new deal.
