Wolves keeper Michael Oakes has signed a new two-year contract at Molineux and is ready to fight Matt Murray for the number one jersey.
He joins fellow shot-stopper Murray in securing his future at the Championship club, with Murray back in contention again after a long injury lay-off.
Oakes, however, insists he is ready for the challenge and said: "It's going to be good to have Matt back next season. He's had a hard time of things lately and it hasn't been a great couple of seasons for him.
"I'm sure once he's fully fit, though, he will be after my place, training as hard as he can as usual. It's up to me to keep him out the side."
