Troyes coach Jean-Marc Furlan has extended his contract until June 2007 after successfully helping his side win promotion to the top flight next season.
The Ligue 2 season has not yet ended but Troyes have already secured a Ligue 1 spot for next year as they are lying in third place - nine points ahead of Dijon with only two matches left to play.
Furlan had originally put pen-to-paper on a two-year contract last summer.
"I wanted to confirm our promotion and I am glad things all went well," he said.
"This is good for the staff and the players who will be able to restart the new season with me."
President Thierry Gomez was also satisfied with the deal.
"This will allow us to stabilise the club and help us progress," he said.
