Not a good result for Accy Stanley Ladies against Preston North End ladies with Preston running out 31-0 winners ouch

31-0 had to read that post a couple of times, though you miss typed

Yeah i couldnt believe it myself but it was on Preston's official site

Looking at the scoreline, it has to be taken into context in that it looks like a total mismatch. Established ladies team (Preston) playing new team (Accrington) in a cup tie. 4 divisions difference, Preston won the cup last season so a 31-0 scoreline is no suprise. Accrington hopefully will find their feet over the course of the season.

The first team my team played was 2 years younger than us and we lost 10-2! At the end of the last season we lost to the best team in our league by 1 goal in extra time - the same team that beat us 8-0 earlier on in the season! Improvement will be made if their players stick with it.

You have to feel sorry for the goalie, picking up the ball so many times in the net.

And I assume the 0-7 was a loss too - doesn't make it clear though

31-0 it was and a total missmatch. but fair play to the PNE manager who had a good long chat to the Accrington team and manager on the pitch after the game. he gave them lots of encouragement and advice.

Accrington have since lost all there games by big scores but slowly these are coming down as more players join and it wont be long before they start to get results. they are playing 5 aside on Monday nights and doing well.
