I am now officially fed up with all the Arsenal bashing. It seems that when Liverpool can make it to the Champions League final on the principal of defending, everyone thinks they are brilliant. When Arsenal can keep out a Man U team with ronaldo and Rooney on top form, they are slated. Arsenal are the F.A Cup winners 2004, Get. Over. It Exclamation Exclamation Exclamation

Heskeyhater thanks for sticking up for Arsenal coz Arsenal did their best like Man Utd did!
It aint their fault they won, it was by luck of scoring more penalties!

wayno i cannot agree with your comments about Arsenals poor defending. fair enough cole and lauren WERE made to look foolish, but the defending on the whole was excellent. Ljungberg heading off the line, toure sliding in to stop Rooney poking a shot from 2 yards, lehmann makin 2 EXCELLENT saves AND rushing out to deny giggs. You cant blame all of those on "the post and bad finishing" Question Exclamation [/quote]

Yeh I loved the way Ljungberg halped defended Arsenals goal!
That header saved Arsenal!
And the only way Man Utd get a goal past us was of course to have penalties other than that they wouldnt of scored yes Lehman did save 3 EXCELLENT saves!
I think Lehman is the best goalie Arsenal have possessed yet!

the only way we could get goals past you was by penalties? same with you really, you had 1 shot on target in 120 minutes. we had a goal ruled out for offside (it was offside) and we battered you from the 20th minute to the 120th.

Seaman is by far better than Lehmann

and you may have "won" the cup but at the end of the day you know it's a hollow victory

And winning a game by a blatent dive from Rooney_79586.shtml'>Wayne Rooney isnt hollow? http://www.itv-football.co.uk/News/story_153027.shtml . Though i must agree with Arsenals disgraceful attacking display yesterday, and the fact that seaman in his prime was one of the best goalkeepers in the world

ok take away the Rooney penalty, we had a blatant penalty turned down when Cole brought down Ronaldo, Rooney put the ball in the net from open play as well.

and how can you moan about Rooney diving when Pires dived for a penalty by sticking out his leg and falling over thin air to get a draw against Pompey, and providing one of the worst dives ever, your captain Vieira, it may not be for a penalty, it it's pathetic

i'll be the first to admit that Arsenal have some divers in their team (as do Man U) but my point is that i would rather get lucky and win on penalties than off of a dodgy penalty.

and my point is i'd rather have played like united did, battering you for well over 3/4's of the game and lose on penalties than play the way you did win it on penalties

every side has atleast one diver.

So youre telling me that you'd rather play well and lose to your bitter rivals in a cup final when its the last chance of the season t win something. I'm sorry but i find that hard to believe...

well i hate Man Utd and it was good to get one over them at last . They destroyed our season with the
controversial 2-0 win at Old Trafford . Even though we were well outplayed during the match its winning
that counts and Arsenal did just that . As when Arsenal lost 2-1 to Liverpool in the final a few years ago
we outplayed them but lost to 2 late goals. Nobody remembers the losers and that is what Man Utd are
this year...losers

Arsenal didn't play well, Senderos and Lehmann played well, the rest were outplayed

Arsenal clung on because we couldn't finish, end of.
