Egyptian star Mido claims Roma have received a couple of offers for his services, but are not looking to let him leave the Eternal City.
Mido returned to Rome this summer following an impressive loan spell at
Tottenham and immediately caught the eye of a number of clubs - notably
Blackburn.
Rovers have since signed Benni McCarthy, but Mido feels there are clubs still on his trail.
"I know that Roma have two or three offers for me," Mido told Sky Sports News. "It is good money and the club needs money at the moment to buy other players, but at the moment the manager and the board said I am not on the transfer list and that I cannot leave."
Mido was disappointed not to secure a permanent move to
Spurs, but would gladly return if an offer came his way.
"I enjoyed my time at
Tottenham, I made a lot of friends and if the day came for me to go back I would be very proud," the former Ajax man declared.
