Liverpool defender Djimi Traore has revealed he could easily have been playing for
Champions League final opponents AC Milan.
Traore arrived at Anfield six years ago, a bargain £500,000 signing from his hometown French club Laval.
He signed for Gerard Houllier after snubbing Milan.
Traore explained: "AC put an offer on the table but then Gerard Houllier convinced me joining
Liverpool instead of Milan was the right choice - and I believed in him.
"I must say that today, facing a
Champions League final for the team I chose against the team I rejected, I don't have a single regret."
