I might put a few euro on Derry for a laugh! 250/1 after beating the former winners Gothenborg in the first round then thrashing Gretna 5-1 away isnt a bad price lol. Theyre obviously not going to win it but its not a bad price though!
theres a few good prices there, Espanyol and feyenoord at 33/1 are a good price

I would deffinitely be tempted to put some money on feyenoord, even without Kuyt they still have a good team and will have a good chance of winning it.

You can say the same about Spurs and Celta Vigo RFCboy, they havent done anything in Europe either..

Just noticed Vigo did they not get relegated a few years ago and just came back up 2 years ago ?

If so why are they rated so high. Rolling Eyes

Yeah they did get relegated I think. You can say the same about Spurs though, they havent been in Europe at all in recent years and theyre 3rd favourites. I guess Celta just have a good team now?!?

Wouldn't like to play then wherever they came spanish teams are usually tricky games.

Hope we get an easy group so we can qualify easily and build our confidence.

Better add Hearts to that odds list.

Celta de Vigo played UEFA Cup during 4 or 5 consecutive years doing well (beating teams like Juventus) and after that they played one season Champions League (the year that they relegated) and they were in the Milan's group and finished in the second position, then qualifying, beating Milan at San Siro. I think that were eliminated by Arsenal in 1/8.

Still a team relegated from there top flight and done nothing in Europe for 2 years surly shouldn't be given odds like that.

what does it matter!? they havent done anything europe for a few years so they shouldnt be given good odds?? Heard of new signings, new staff, new managers, new youth, extra money, good finishing in the league etc.

Just because a team hasnt done anything in europe for a few years means they shouldnt be considered up there.

Boro's 2nd season in Europe in 130 years and we reached the final, what had we done in europe before?? We aint even had european football in our history

Sevilla will go far, however im not sure they will win it again!

No team has won it back too back since Real Madrid.

1984-85 Real Madrid 3-1 Videoton
1985-86 Real Madrid 5-3 Cologne
