Brian Horton is proud of what his Macclesfield squad have achieved this season despite their defeat by Lincoln in the semi-finals of the play-offs.
"It's the first time I've been in the play-offs and I hope I'm in them again," he said. "I've enjoyed it, it was a fantastic event.
"To be fair to my players, they have done fantastically well. They deserve every plaudit they get.
"And the board and fans have been marvellous too."
He added: "I couldn't have asked any more from the players during the season and they are a bit down in there because we have lost it to two set-pieces over the two games.
"But credit to Lincoln, they are strong and well-organised, they have got as good manager and good luck to them."
