Sick! 80 million is an insane amount of money, and while he cant be replaced they will be able to but some class players for that and may even come out stronger.

Too much cash to turn down for a player who wants away, that said I think they will stuggle to win the league without him next season, if Vidic goes as well they would be in a bad way. Will be interesting to see how much of that 80m they reinvest of if they keep some of it back to put towards their debt!

Madrid will earn most of that back through clever marketing.

I think they'll buy Ribery. They should have atleast £50-60m budget after this sale. Ribery will be in the £45-55m bracket... even tho Bayern want alot more, he could be prized away for that amount... they'll probs spend the rest on Valencia of Wigan. One player on each wing or Ribery playing just behind Rooney..

No matter what is said, Ronaldo will be very very hard to replace, money can't really buy what he brought to the team!

This goes to show that Real Madrid are a bigger club than Man Utd. Despite all of the recent success of Utd, their best player still wants to leave them to join Real Madrid.

Just like with Beckham, the shirt sales, advertising and endorsements will more than compensate for the money they’ve spent on Kaka and Ronaldo. Good business.

Now I think Real need to focus on defence!

Absolutely agree Johaldo.
Time to sign something a world class defender (or two). Maybe a CB and a left back.

Ribery said he wouldn't move to the premier league because the weathers just as bad as Germany here. Laughing Laughing

exactly.

it also shows what a clown Ferguson is. i thought he wouldnt even sell Madrid a virus?

it was never in ferguson's hands. Ronaldo is bigger than Manchester United and no amount of begging by ferguson will change that. Ronaldo decides when he leaves, not Man United.
