Hi all,

I have updated the English Club sub-forums so they reflect relegation/promotion for the up coming season.
If you spot anything I have missed, please let me know.

The auto generated content in there is starting to look good, its up to date and relevant and the automated sub-headings are a great addition.

There seems to be a lot of them but they are a good use for those subforums imo, as they dont get much use from the members of the forum so they might as well be as google friendly as possible which I believe that makes them.

Any discussion threads fans want in their section could be stickied so they arent pushed off the page after a couple of days. (PM me if anyone would like this done)

The only suggestion for improvement i can find is the player subforums need to be updated, a lot of work if you have to do it manually tho.

Is there any way to set it up so that these new threads dont show up in the 'Show posts since your last visit' thing. I always used to use it but theres about 10 new pages a day now which makes it annoying for finding 'real' threads

Agree there Con.

You have to pick through pages of Football.co.uk posts which you'll never read.

I doubt it's possible to remove them from that page though.

I have asked whether posts from football.co.uk can be excluded from the 'Show posts since your last visit' option.

All bugs that were collated before are still being worked on. There is a lot going on at the moment, however we should start seeing these faults being rectified one by one.

I will make a post each time something is sorted out.

Thanks
Shane

lol all you do is whinge...
You whinge about the bugs, then when something is fixed, you whinge about the length of time it took.

Let's be a little bit more positive eh ?? ;)

sarcy git.

what did you think the forum looked like when it had third rate clubs like Reading in the Premier League section? you would look at that as an outsider and instantly think 'two-bob'.

like i said, its only a small change but it does make a big difference.

yes i agree ....but why has it taken a whole year to sort out ......how many members might we have lost because they looked at the forum and found Reading and Watford still in the Premier league last season ..

This fault was pointed out last year ....nothing was done ....for me its so annoying ....yet i get accused of whinging or being a sarcy git ...

And the player forums are also wrong ...many players are no longer with a club .....but has anything been done ...no ...and yes i also pointed this out too ..

So forgive me for being a littel sarcastic at times ...

We now have a team in place who are focusing on issues with the forum, and working on resolutions. There is now a system created which allows me to update the sub forums - including the player forums.

It is a huge task however to get the players updated.
