Crewe manager Dario Gradi says England Under-19 call-ups for Billy Jones and Gary Roberts will disrupt his pre-season plans.
Gradi had wanted time to experiment with Jones, who has only just returned to fitness, in a midfield role.

"Billy is a concern because he has only just returned from a long lay-off and the fear is he could come back injured," Gradi told the club website.

"It will affect our pre-season plans but it is something we have to accept."

Jones and Roberts will be on England duty in the European Championships in July in Northern Ireland.
