Keeper Mart Poom is determined to play a big part for Sunderland next season after he was passed fit for Estonia's World Cup qualifiers next month.
The 33-year-old has been out of action since October with a knee problem.
Poom told the club's website: "I want to play a big part in keeping this club in the Premiership.
"It has been a great honour to be Sunderland's number one and I will do everything I can to make sure I have the shirt again."
