Campbell is overated.

He isnt as good as Terry, i woul;d put my morgage on Terry making a block but i wouldnt put a 3week old ham sandwich on Campbell doing the same thing.

im not saying Campbell is a bad defender but i would feel more reliable with JT rather with Campbell

Terry's the best up and coming defender, without a doubt. Nesta is unbelievable, Cannavaro is brilliant, Ferdinand also excellent. Maldini is a living legend, but the best defender without a doubt for sheer consistency is Cafu. Playing at the top level like he does, for the age he is, is something incredible. Hasnt he lifted the World Cup 3 times, and if they win it in Germany that will be 4....amazing!

Cafu was a great player, however he is nowhere near the best in the world at the moment. He is still going well, but there are others out there better.

His career has been amazing though.

Cafú isnt as good as Terry, Terry has had a phenmominal season and has made himself one of the most respected defenders in the world in doing so.

Cafú was great though, but hes more of a wing back who does more crossing than defending....
