Figo: Real situation cant go on |
|
Luis Figo says he intends to soon discuss his future with Real Madrid chiefs.
The Portugal international is entering the final year of his contract and wants first team assurances from coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo for next season. "I am not going to give an answer (on my future) until the right moment," said Figo yesterday. "I do not know if I can continue like this next season. "If I was 18 years old, I would think differently. I have not wanted to say much on the subject in respect to the club and because I feel happy at Real Madrid." After announcing his return from international retirement, Figo is desperate to be playing regularly next season to help spearhead Portugal's 2006 World Cup campaign. |

Too good to be left on the bench, although he is 33 he can last 90 minutes or better yet he could play 90 minutes, he is still good enough to play, maybe in Champions League when they go to extra time, he wont be up to it, but will Zidane be up to that, probably not.
He leaves alot more option getting down the wing, great cross, for Ronaldo Raul and Owen to get on the end of. |

Figo is a great player , i think he can still play the whole 90 minutes.
Didnt he always say he wanted to finish his career in Portugal. |
