Real Madrid's board have agreed to hand the technical staff a mega £80 million transfer kitty for the summer market.
After this season's failure domestically and in Europe, Real president Florentino Perez is ready to back general manager Arrigo Sacchi and coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo in rebuilding the squad for next season.
Top of Sacchi's shopping list is
Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo, while the agent of Juventus striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has already revealed a massive £48 million offer was made by Real a fortnight ago.
Also in Sacchi's sights is Seville defender Sergio Ramos, having scouted the youngster last Sunday in Liga action.
Real's summer warchest can only be matched by
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich - and possibly AC Milan - as the days tick by towards the opening of the close-season transfer market.
