Quakers keep eye on results |
|
Darlington chief executive Jon Sotnick has admitted that the club's recent run of results is a concern as speculation over the future of manager David Hodgson continues.
Sotnick is reported to be at loggerheads with Hodgson, but the club have always denied there is a major split behind the scenes - and have again stressed that the club have axed the former Middlesbrough and Liverpool midfielder. However, Sotnick admitted that the issue of the club's recent poor run would be analysed at their weekly board meeting. "On Monday we will have our meeting, as we do each week, when we discuss all issues regarding the club and that includes how the team are doing and their results," he said. "It's no secret that there is a degree of frustration at the results but that is part and parcel of being involved in football. "Things have been going well off the pitch, our ideas seem to have been well-received so far - the only thing I can't do is put the ball in the net!" |
