She was the player who influenced the game more, according to what the man said Jayne was probably too busy drinking on the pitch, right Shlj? |

Kelly has a weird sloppy accent, I don't understand her
Not that I understand Jayne better |
Kelly doesn't sound any different to me , where you gettin the weird accent from ?
I'm not British and the way she speaks is difficult for me to understand sometimes.
She doesn't pronounce the words the way I'm used to hear them. This is of course how they speak in Hertfordshire but for me it's just annoying. I wish all the Brits spoke proper English the way the Queen does |
I can understand Kelly, she has a different accent to me but that's coz I'm a country bumpkin haha
Nooo not the Queen! I'd fall down laughing if Kelly talked like the Queen..."Faye, may one have the ball please?" *skipping and jumping* |

LMAO Some accents make English not understandable for me - and I'm not talking about somewhere up North, I'm talking about London area - what I call sloppy is when people don't pronounce 't' and use words like 'innit' - that's where I get lost For you it makes no difference because you speak the language since your first words and I don't Back to the League Cup - erm... it's over |

hahahaha Don't come to where I live you won't survive. Everyone here sounds like: 'The ruff is falling dan' = 'The roof is falling down.' 'On the ar' = 'On the hour.' When you have off words like them added with "chav talk" it gets pretty complicated Yep...League Cup...soo..do...do..doo... |

Perhaps we should have a new thread about how to translate English regional accents |

yes because I have trouble understanding some. yesterday at wembley stadium they showed some extract of england WC 2007 qualifiers and Carney's interview she has such a small voice |

I don't think the Brummie accent is too bad - but I've not heard her talk, so can't say about her personally. |
You can't say which accents are less understandable for foreigners, Twm
- you're Welsh |
But lots of English people are difficult to understand even by other English people, and some aren't so bad. So I thought it might apply to people who don't speak English as first language too. But, as you say - I'm Welsh, so who am I to talk |
