What's happening with the Arsenal game - I take it it's going to be delayed because of the UEFA cup?

As usual Wink

Is there any game that collides with the UEFA Cup schedule?

I suppose I might have made the mistake of staying down near London overnight so I could see the FA cup game tomorrow Laughing
It would have balanced out the time I drove back up and missed a game where Emma gave an enjoyable performance Wink

At least that will be postponed as it's the same day as the UEFA game; the one today is postponed because of a UEFA game on a different day.

6-1 win for Chelsea.
The referee was bizzare : he was excellent for all the advantage decision but could not care less for dangerous play and fouls.
He missed a few bookings and a definite sending off for two footed tackle from behind Twisted Evil
I mean 3 players from Chelsea got subbed due to being injured.
I refered a game yesterday that's why I am commenting on the ref because I faced some problem and decision as well in my game.

Hi, I was at the game too - agree with what you say about the ref. The Watford girls were getting very frustrated towards the end of the game but I thought that they did well. Chelsea were the better side but not by miles. I don't think the score line reflects Watford's performance, it's a shame they didn't get another goal.

I got loads of photos and hope to put them up sometime very soon. Will let you know when that happens.

I must have fallen asleep ? Chelsea scored with the last play of the game ...
Anyway Chelsea were very impressive attacking-wise : speed skills accuracy
They are going to give a run for their money to Everton and charlton for the runner-up
spot this season.
Their speed in the counter attacking mode was amazing, honestly if their defending was as good as that they'd be nearly level with Arsenal.
In the same time , their possession football is not as mature as Arsenal's but oday they did not need it
as it was end to end stuff.
Defensively Chelsea was solid although they fell asleep and let one in at the end form a long ball over the top.

Watford has a few skillfull players but were dominated from the athlectic point of view.
Also they paid dearly all the small mistake with two early from two bad passes in the middle of the pitch. They also never really found a solution to Chelsea's pressing in midfield.

Wow, really? You're talking about Chelsea? Surprised

Thanks for the report mate, we'll see how they'll do this season,
although I dare doubt they'll be any threat to Charlton or Everton, not to mention AFC Wink

They improved a lot from last season, added a few players and in about 2 or 3 years will be catching up with AFC.

I know I've asked this somewhere else - but here seems a good place to ask again.

Arsenal's Prem league game against Donnie Rovers on 24th is now down as tba.

There is now no game down arranged for that date.

Is the league cup game going to be played then instead?

I hope we get a little bit of notice about this.
I don't fancy a long drive and then find it was played on the Friday evening or something.

The FA.com says that the second round will be played 8/10 october so it could be either 24 or midweek
as 31 is not possible due to the France-England game and the 04/10 is the away Fulham League game.

Donny website says it was called off on the 24th due to the 4 Scottish players in their team who have an international that weekend. What the FA have done previously is to play the first round game on the date of the second round which is Oct 8th. The winners would play the catch up game when the fixture list is less crowded in late October/ November.

Every season is a mess with the fixture list for Arsenal due to the European commitment and long runs in cup games.
