I don't know where all of the teams are based, but it seems that most of the ties are arranged so that the opponents are close to each other.
Is that just a coincidence?
Or is the draw geographically sorted?

i'm sure it is, just like the last round. As soon as the Prem teams come in, it goes National, Saints had Middlesboro one year then Donny Belles the next. Even the little clubs might go to the other end of the country.

Thanks for that - I noticed it was the same in the first round too, but was a bit confused by the Tottenham v Garston tie - the only Garston I new was in Merseyside.
But I googled and found they are from Herts Very Happy

strangely enough , i saw them (garston) yesterday- they beat a team from the league above . Really committed game very close. They seemed like a really good club with lots of girls and womens teams all playing at the same time. The team was seemingly made up of players who had been there since they were 9 or 10 and many had stayed on into open age. They ve now got QPR who are top of the SW combination just below national level and the highest ranked club in the cup at the moment . The romance of the f a cup!

I did wonder if coincidence had struck! another confusing one is that their are 2 Leicester City female clubs as I discovered when I e mailed the wrong one. The only difference is that one are 'women' and the other are 'ladies'.

A proper Lady:

A well-mannered and considerate woman with high standards of proper behavior, regarded as proper and virtuous, a well-behaved young women who is the head of a household.
A woman, especially when spoken of or to in a polite way

TOPIC! Laughing

As for having two teams that is very confusing, at least they have enough interest to have two teams in Leicester

Being very sad, I will tell you there are 3 clubs with leicester city name.... ladies in the combination league, women in the midlands regional and fosse in the county leagues. Triple confusion and still only one left in the FA cup!

I'm thinking of trying to go on Sunday - weather permitting - to Coventry vs Wolves being played at the Ricoh Arena, simply on the basis that it should be a close game and has a better chance of surviving the weather as the pitch should be in decent condition... probably will look a totally stupid idea when it is called off to protect the pitch for the mens team.
