Boston United have appointed Colin Hendry as their new assistant manager.
Hendry replaces Paul Raynor, who remains part of the coaching team at York Street, as Steve Evans's number two. "I'm really looking forward to the job in hand," said Hendry who left his role as Blackpool manager last year. "I met Steve in the summer, during our Uefa 'A' licence coaching course and we went over various aspects of the game and analysed different levels of football. We had a good time and certainly got on well throughout. "This challenge is a great opportunity for me and I'm a very willing worker. "I'm comfortable with the management structure and although it's a new kind of role for me, I'm serious about what I'm doing and I'll work hard for the manager, the chairman, the coaching staff, the players and of course the supporters." |

He didnt have the best of times while he was manager at the Donkey Lashers but im sure he will do ok as an assitant and he will be able to learn and with him being a captain in the past im sure that will be vital in the dressing room.
