Liverpool goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek wants to stay and fight for his Anfield career.
"I have two years left on my contract and I'm not afraid of anyone," the Pole said.
"I would like to say a big thank you to the gaffer, as he has been my biggest supporter at the club.
"And whatever happens, whoever he signs in the summer, I am ready for the challenge. I will be up for it - as always."
Dudek admitted: "The double save from Shevchenko? All I could do was prepare myself to make the save from his header and I managed to do that.
"Then he was straight up and going for the rebound. I got up as quickly as I could to try and make myself as big as possible and, fortunately, the ball hit my arm. It was by far the best and most important save I've made in my life.
"As soon as I had done that I looked up and saw the clock, which said there was only one minute to go, so it made it even more important.
"Now it feels great. It is the best moment of our careers for all of us. But it was very, very difficult. To be 3-0 down and come back like we did is unbelievable. I have won on penalties before but nothing like this.
"Yet I was a bit worried at the start. When we were 3-0 down, I was thinking 'What's going on? We should be 3-0 up.' I thought it would be very difficult after that.
"The manager changed a couple of things in the second half, though, and they really paid off."
