Cambridge United are set to name Halifax Town boss Chris Wilder as their new manager.
Wilder is expected to leave The Shay to take up the vacant post at Halifax's Conference rivals.
The 38-year-old former Sheffield United and Bradford City defender has been in charge of Halifax since July 2002.
He took over following Halifax's relegation from the Football League and almost led them back up last season, only to lose in the play-off final.
Cambridge have been looking for a new manager since Rob Newman was sacked at the start of the month following a winless start to the season.
