Lampard did well not amazing but did well.Essien controled the centre and i thought Terry was solid.

Please Chelsea did everything but control the game. Liverpool were the team that created the better chances. That being said I'm not taking anything away from Chelsea's win. It was a well taken goal but you can't argue the fact that Liverpool deserved a lot more.

We had the better of the chances, we just cant finish which is very frustrating as that has happened for the last 2 seasons. I cant stress how important a good start is. The stats show that if you take away the 1st month of last season we would of won the league! bad starts can finish you before the season has begun.

but at the end of the day we didnt put our chances away, granted we didnt have much luck but we can not rely on that, we have to make our own luck. Essien, Drogba and JT were key for Chelsea today and played very well. Lampard was no where, apart from in the box taking down stevie.

Good shout Billy these boys can't take the stick they give it the big 1 then Droba of all people mugs Liverpool off like last season. Also i was told that Liverpool have a great atmosphere, now at the game yesterday i didn't hear Liverpool fans at all we outsung all through the game. Maybe the atmosphere is good when Liverpool are ahead.
