Hey guys, just thought I'd start up a topic for the discussion of todays match. 0-0 isn't quite what I was hoping for, especially in a home game when the opposition doesn't have a full strength team.

Anyway, I'm going to reserve my comments for later on when I've had the chance to watch the game on Football First...

We wern't great but we should have won. We missed Lennon and it showed. We had no penetration going forward and Routledge should be recalled.

Hi all, Just got back from prague yesterday and was at todays game. I thought we were to predictable having our four central midfielders in the middle, very narrow no imagination and lacking team spirit.
Our back five are class but having only 3 wingers in the squad limits us. Ziegler should be given a chance now and letting Routledge go on loan was a big mistake (Cant rtn till Jan). Mido looks as though he may have shed a few pounds but looks as though he has lost all his muscle, he hardly won a ball in the air, but still we keep pumping the long ball. (Come back soon Berby)
Defoe is a class act but if he does not get the ball to feet he has no chance. With the right team i belive out of all our forwards he would score the most goals and i believe he will do the walk come January if things dont change.

Things have got to improve. Mad

Well, due to the fact that Football First finished long before I anticipated it would, it doesn't look like I'll get to see any of the game. I also skipped MOTD2 so that I would be able to see the extended highlights on FF... damn. Mad

Yeh but I'm always interested to see who played well/badly and I like trying to figure out why we have won/lost a game. Not being a season ticket holder, I tend to take whatever television coverage I can get. Smile

One of these days I'll get my hands on a season ticket - perhaps when we move to the White Hart Mansion. Razz
