Well the last topic got me thinking about players who come to England, not for the money, but because they loved our game here. There was once a time where only has-beens would grace our league, but now we are bringing in world stars when they are at their peeks.

So here goes - most influencial foreigners who have come to England.

Eric Cantona
Peter Schmeichel
Gianfranco Zola
Dennis Bergkamp

There are lots more, but I want you to all name some. Then we will have a vote at the end, and choose a football.co.uk official top 10 foreigners to come to England.

Bergkamp influenced more than Thierry the fairy has anyway.

Eric "le king" Cantona (my god)
Bergkamp
Gianfranco Zola (just as influencial as Eric, easily a Chelsea legend)
Schmeichel (best keeper ever)
Keano (why hasn't he been mentioned, he's irish so technically he is foreign)

Cristano Ronaldo!!!! No way he hasn't graced the english game, leave that sissy crap for the continent, the sooner a big bruising centre back breaks that boys legs the better.

Foreigners must include all non-English here I think, so as well as Roy Keane add Brady, Jennings, Blanchflower, Law, Charles, Rush etc.

But I thought there was going to be a vote here, and my reply is last one for 2 weeks!!!!

This is the List

Now I want everyone to pick a top 10, in the order that 1 being the best descending down to 10. We can then maybe get The General to put a story on the front of football.co.uk to announce the winner, and some information about the history of this player, followed by the top 10.

It will work on a points basis. For each player voted top, that player earns 10 points, and that decends down.

You will see how it works. If anyone wants to add players who have been missed out, your welcome to. I hope to see honest replies only, and not people taking the pee, as this will be the official football.co.uk Poll. It will continue onto something else for next month.

Get voting.

Eric Cantona
Peter Schmeichel
Gianfranco Zola
Dennis Bergkamp
Thierry Henry
Juninho
Gianluca Vialli
Fabritzio Ravanelli

Patrik Viera
Jay Jay Okocha
Anthony Yeboah
Andrei Kanchelskis
Roberto Di Matteo
Roy Keane
Pat Jennings
