Highly-rated Dundee United fullback Mark Wilson is considering a new contract offer.
The 20-year-old wing-back still has a year of his contract to run but has attracted interest from a number of English Premiership sides. "Things were put on hold because we were in relegation trouble then the cup final, but I am happy to sit down now," Wilson told The Courier. "And I would like to stay here for the foreseeable future." Manchester City and Everton have both been linked with Wilson this season but United manager Gordon Chisholm hopes to keep the under-21 international. "I would like to think we can hang on to Mark Wilson," said Chisholm. "If someone came in with enough money for Mark we would have to look at it. "I don't think any club in Scotland would be any different in those circumstances. "But he is a boy we have high hopes for and we want to keep him at Tannadice." |
