Chelsea make Italian clubs panic over Motta

Chelsea are eyeing Atalanta winger Marco Motta.

The 19 year-old Italian is going down to Serie B with relegated Atalanta, but isn't expected to start next season with the Bergamo club.

Both AC Milan and Inter have already opened talks with Atalanta chiefs about Motta, who is rated at £4 million. The two Milan clubs are stepping up negotiations this week after becoming aware of the interest of Chelsea in the youngster.

Inter lead the race for Motta, with Atalanta favouring their proposal of buying the midfielder and immediately loaning him back for next season's Serie A campaign.

Ive seen him play on a welsh programme "Scorio" which shows European highlights, and on this he looked quick, sharp, strong and got a cracking cross on him.
