This weeks clash between Newcastle Jets and Perth Glory at Energy Australia Stadium will harbour an interesting, co-incidental battle.

The Jet's 19 year old Kiwi defender Steven Old will face of against Glory's 31 year old striker Stuart Young.

As the older Young's career windes down and the much younger Old's career is just beginning it will be the ultimate showdown of young and old (in as many ways as two). Whether young Old or old Young prevail it will be a an equally appealing and quirky news paper headline.
