Hernan Crespo has added to Internazionale's growing list of missing players after it was confirmed he would be sidelined for a month.

The Argentine star suffered a thigh strain in the Serie A clash with Cagliari and Inter have confirmed he will be out for around four weeks.

Coach Roberto Mancini is growing increasingly agitated at the situation of his missing players.

"These injuries and bans are a serious problem and they have hampered us," says Mancini.

Inter are already without the injured Esteban Cambiasso and Dejan Stankovic, while Patrick Vieira has failed with a bid to overturn a ban meaning he will be missing for a further two games.

With pressure on Inter's squad - particularly the midfield, the club are already being linked with new summer recruits. Dynamo Kiev's Diogo Rincon and Sergio Almiron of Empoli are being touted as possible options.

Meanwhile, Inter have launched a venture to try and uncover some of China's brightest young talent.

Inter's brand president, Angelomario Moratti, was in China last week to sign a partnership deal with Chinese portal Sina to launch the club's new Chinese-language website.

Moratti said that the club would continue to aid the development of Chinese players and hopefully add one or two players to the club's books.

"There are lots of people playing football in China. I am optimistic we will sign one or two in the future. I am sure we will find some good players," he said.

"There have been Chinese players training in Italy before. Some of them have potential.

"I cannot assure you that we will have specific plan to sign a Chinese player soon. Right now, we will make efforts to offer more chances for them to train and improve the skills."

Promising 17-year-old goalkeeper Wang Dalei and 19-year-old midfielder Zhang Wenzhao spent week-long trials with the Serie A side at the beginning of September.

Moratti praised the performances of the duo and is convinced they will go on and have successful careers.

"Two of the Chinese players played very well during the training. I am confident of their future. They will be even better in the near future.

"They are gifted football players with great potential. I sincerely hope there will be more Chinese players going to Milan for training."

This is the last thing Inter need at the moment, they are not playing well at all, now their biggest threat in the team is injured....
