Its not scrooge its more like spending it wisely unlike chelski who are mugged every time they buy a player.

Maybe he is just spending it wisely, but for a club of Arsenals size and the amount of gate receipts they must get i would be expecting a bit more investment in the playing squad. (If I was a fan or a player)

When Ljungberg came out recently and said Arsenal needed to show a bit more "ambition" and "not rely on bringing in 18 and 19-year-olds" I think that is exactly what he meant.

Dont knock it its work brilliant for us so far look what we have achieved from this by doing that,anyway if we need to spend big we will (Reyes) just coz Chelsea splash the cash on average players dont mean we have to.
