At college we're currently using this layout for attacking a corner, its effective as long as all the players understand what their roles are.
Heres a quick key for it: 1: person taking corner 2: person drawing players away from the middle to create space or to head on towards 3 3: person hanging around the back post area for a flick on or direct header 4: person standing in front of the goalkeeper 5, 6 & 7: Attack corner via red routes 8, 9 & 10: Back Defending incase its headed out (8 only goes back if the opponents leave 2 men forward, 9 Man Marks, 10 stays back to collect anything over the top) RED LINE: Example of some of the runs we use regularly to get to the ball, start the run before the kick is swung in.
Hope it helps |
